You cannot request an appeal review simply because you are dissatisfied with the outcome. However, you may be able to request a review of the decision if one of the following applies:
- There was a procedural irregularity in handling your appeal which has disadvantaged you and was significant enough to have materially affected the decision/recommendation made
- There is a compelling argument that the appeal outcome was not reasonable in the circumstances.
A review request needs to be submitted within 10 working days of the outcome of your original appeal. You'll need to complete and submit the review request form, which you can find on our academic appeals webpage.
The review is not a further investigation; the reviewer assesses the reasonableness of the original appeal decision or if there was a procedural irregularity.
After this stage, if you are still dissatisfied, you can request your case is independently reviewed by the Office of the Independent Adjudicator.
